- The US stock market uses a T +1 settlement system, which means that settlement occurs on the next trading day after the transaction. The funds are expected to arrive after 6 - 8 p.m. on T + 1.
- The HK stock market follows a T +2 settlement system, which means that clearing and settlement can only be completed on the second trading day after the transaction occurs. The funds are expected to arrive after 6 - 8 p.m. on T + 2.
