Notice of Amendments to the “Debt Consolidation Program Terms and Conditions”, effective from 19 October 2026

At ZA Bank, we continue to listen to our users’ feedback and improve our banking services. Therefore, we are updating the Debt Consolidation Program Terms and Conditions (“Revised Terms”). Understand this may sound boring but to better protect your interests, please bear with us and spare several minutes to read this through carefully.

We have outlined the major changes to the Revised Terms in the table below for your information.

Section  Purpose of the changes and what they mean for you  Clause
5. Repayment arrangements

Revised repayment arrangements:

You authorise us to debit from your Designated Account or the account referred to in Clause 5.3 below, or to apply any cashier’s order(s) or proceeds referred to in Clause 5.7 for the payment of:

(a)               the amount of the Monthly Instalment Amount then due and payable on or after the Repayment Date; and

5. Repayment arrangements

Revised repayment arrangements:

If any  cashier’s order(s) issued by us in connection with a Debt Consolidation Program has not been cashed in, deposited or otherwise use to settle the relevant Debt before its expiry or maturity date, and any amount under the Debt Consolidation Program is overdue or otherwise due and payable, including where any auto-debit arrangement under Clause 5.3 is unsuccessful due to insufficient funds or available credit limit, you authorise us, without further notice, to cancel, debit, apply or otherwise use the relevant cashier’s order, in or towards repayment of any amount then due and payable by you under the Debt Consolidation Program. You remain liable for any shortfall after such application.
