During the account opening process, the ZA Bank App will check whether your device has NFC and whether it has been enabled. Specifically, you will need to have an iPhone 7 or newer model to use NFC, and the system version will need to be at least 14.5. Alternatively, you can have a phone with an Android system version at 4.4 or above to use NFC.
