We calculate interest every day and credit to your savings account once a month. The daily interest payable is calculated based on the account balance at the time when the Bank calculates the interest at the end of the day and interest rate of the day. For the actual interest paid each month, please refer to our records including e-Statements and e-Advices.

You can access to “Account” > “Deposit” > “ Savings" in ZA Bank App to check for "Yesterday Interest"

A gentle reminder:

1. "Interest (yesterday)" is an estimated amount for reference only. For the actual interest income, please refer to the actual amount of interest deposited to the savings account.

2. Savings interest is calculated on a daily basis. The interest earned is determined based on the account balance at the time when the Bank calculates the interest at the end of the day. The interest will be updated at 01:00 (Hong Kong time) on the following day. The total amount of interest earned in the current month will be reflected on the savingsaccount balance on the first settlement date of next month.

3. The minimum interest for HKD is HKD 0.01. If the interest calculated is less than the minimum interest, Interest (yesterday) will be shown as "Less than minimum interest ".

4. If the interest calculation is not completed yet, Interest (yesterday) will be shown as "Not yet available".
