Since the ZA Card has no credit limit, the relevant authorised amount will be temporarily deducted from your hkd savings account current account pending settlement by the merchant.
If the merchant does not process the transaction (settlement/reversal) within the settlement period (usually 30 days), the bank will temporarily refund the deducted amount to the cardholder’s account.
If the merchant settles the relevant transaction later (for example, after 30 days), the bank will debit the amount from your account.
If you wish to revoke the authorisation, we recommend that you provide the transaction authorisation code to the merchant for enquiry. You can log in to the ZA Bank App, select the corresponding transaction in “Homepage” > “Activity”, and tap on the transaction details to query the authorisation code.
