If I amend the transfer limit, will it take effect immediately?

If you adjust your registered payee transfer limit, non-registered payee transfer and global transfer limit, or small-value transfer limit, your limit will be updated immediately. For own-account transfer limit, if you lower your limit or raise your limit to HKD 1 million or below, your limit will be updated immediately.

For own-account transfer limit, if you raise your limit from below HKD 1 million to above HKD 1 million, your limit will be immediately updated to HKD 1 million, and the remaining part will take effect after 1 working day.

If your own-account transfer limit is already above HKD 1 million, and you further raise your limit, your limit will also be updated after 1 working day.
