Customer Due Diligence

To protect our customers’ assets from money laundering, terrorist financing or other fraudulent activities, ZA Bank is obligated to undertake Customer Due Diligence ("CDD") as a procedure to understand customers’ information during account opening and on-going review.


This is a statutory requirement for all banks in Hong Kong and ZA Bank is no exception. Kindly note that under such statutory requirement, the Bank will collect information from time to time as required to identify our clients and develop an understanding of their normal and expected banking activities.


Hence, it is important the customer can provide sufficient information for the Bank to complete the CDD.
