When there is auto set-up instruction in effect, if there is any transactions in your savings account (such as transfer-out, card transaction or interest credit) and when your savings account balance is lower than the threshold you set after the transaction, we will automatically execute the top-up from your designated account with another bank to your ZA Bank savings account.

After the completion of auto top-up, the transaction may still be failed due to insufficient account balance.

If there are 15 or more transactions that fail within a calendar month due to an insufficient balance in your savings account (including scheduled/recurring fund transfers, fund transfers via electronic direct debit authorisation (eDDA), cash withdrawals, and ZA Card transactions), a one-time fee of HKD 120 will be applied for that calendar month.
