A 7-day cooling-off period is offered to you if you have successfully applied for and drawdown a Debt Consolidation Program. This means if you early redeem the Debt Consolidation Program in full through our App within 7 calendar days after the Debt Consolidation Program drawdown date, we will waive the handling fee, the early redemption fee (including other applicable fees of a similar nature) and the first month&rsquo;s interest payable by you under the Debt Consolidation Program. However,&nbsp; you will not be entitled to any of our loan promotion offer if you exercised the 7-day-cooling off period arrangement.

3.3 (a): Provide the correct outstanding balance and details of the accounts of any loans and/or credit cards owed by you to us, other bank(s) and/or financial institution(s) as of the time of application (&ldquo;Debt&rdquo;).

3.4 (b): The proceeds of the Debt Consolidation Program (less any applicable fees and charges) will be used to settle whole or part of the Debt and related fees and charges incurred us, the other bank(s) and/or financial institution(s), according to the Debt Consolidation Program Confirmation. The proceeds will be disbursed to:
3.4 (b)(ii): the Designated Account. For the amount to be used to settle the whole or part of the Debt, you are responsible for depositing to the designated loan account(s) with the relevant bank(s), financial institution(s) and provide settlement proof(s) to us upon request. A 7-day cooling-off period is offered to you if you have successfully applied for and drawdown an Instalment Loan Top-up. This means if you early redeem the Instalment Loan Top Up in full through our App within 7 calendar days after the Instalment Loan Top-up drawdown date, we will waive the handling fee, the early redemption fee (including other applicable fees of a similar nature) and the first month&rsquo;s interest payable by you under the Instalment Loan Top Up. However, you will not be entitled to any of our loan promotion offer if you exercised the 7-day-cooling off period arrangement.

Beware of phishing email

ZA Bank reminds users to be cautious of a phishing email purported to be sent by the Bank. The email falsely claimed to be from ZA Bank, and requested a payment from the recipient and suggested opening an attachment.
We have no connection with the phishing email involved, and the case has been reported to Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Police for further investigation. Users are advised to delete the suspicious email without opening any links or attachments in the email, and not to disclose any personal information including login credentials and ZA Card details. ZA Bank will not request users to log into its website or mobile app to conduct transactions through SMS or hyperlinks in emails, nor will the Bank ask users to provide any sensitive personal or ZA Card information through hyperlinks.

Effective from 14 August 2024, we will rename the &ldquo;Fees and Charges Guide for Securities Services&rdquo; document to &ldquo;Fees and Charges Guide for Investment Services.&rdquo; The fee information of investment fund services currently displayed in &ldquo;Fees and Charges Guide for Individual Customers&rdquo; will be moved to the &ldquo;Fees and Charges Guide for Investment Services&rdquo; document. There is no change to the existing fees and charges for investment fund services.

Notice of Amendment to &ldquo;General Account Terms and Conditions&rdquo;, &ldquo;ZA Card Terms and Conditions&rdquo; and &ldquo;Terms and conditions for use of ZA Card through a digital wallet&rdquo;
(effective from 30 June 2024)

ZA Bank Limited (&ldquo;We, us&rdquo;) are updating our &ldquo;General Account Terms and Conditions&rdquo;, &ldquo;ZA Card Terms and Conditions&rdquo; and &ldquo;Terms and conditions for use of ZA Card through a digital wallet&rdquo; (&ldquo;Revised Terms&rdquo;), which will take effect from 30 June 2024. Please read this notice of amendment carefully for the benefit of your protection.
We have outlined the key changes to the Revised Terms (&ldquo;Amendments&rdquo;) in the table below for your information. These Amendments are made in order to:
General Account Terms and Conditions (applicable to personal banking and business banking customers):
<ol>
<li>1. Clarify and specify your obligations regarding payments and fund transfers, and in giving instructions to make payments or effect transactions.</li>
<li>2. Clarify about limitation of our liability and that we are not liable for any delay, unavailability, disruption, failure, error of or caused by any Anti-fraud Database (or any information available on it), or arising from any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, and any risk alert or the processing or execution of funds transfer Instruction affected by a risk alert unless arising directly and solely from our gross negligence or wilful default or that of our officers, employees or agents.</li>
<li>3.&nbsp; A more accurate description of the terms of a Time Deposit account, including a description of the maturity date of the Time Deposit and instructions for the automatic renewal of the Time Deposit and the annual interest rate.</li>
<li>4. To modify definition of &ldquo;PIN&rdquo; and add &ldquo;Authentication Factors&rdquo;, and supplement all reasonable precautions and security measures recommended by us for you to secure your Authentication Factors and electronic equipment.</li>
<li>5. To add that we will contribute and receive information from FINEST, which is an information sharing platform operated by HKPF in response to the evolving fraud, mule account and financial crime landscape.</li>
</ol>
ZA Card Terms and Condition (applicable to individual customers):
<ol>
<li>1. Regarding the newly added definition of "Authentication Factors" in the "General Account Terms and Conditions", the circumstances and handling of Authentication Factors when using ZA Card are added and supplemented, including the corresponding procedures for the Bank and you when the Authentication Factors have been stolen or lost or Authentication Factors or your card information has been compromised.</li>
<li>2. To supplement all reasonable precautions and security measures recommended by us for you to secure your Authentication Factors and ZA Card.</li>
</ol>
Terms and conditions for use of ZA Card through a digital wallet (applicable to individual customers):
<ol>
<li>1. Regarding the newly added definition of "Authentication Factors" in the "General Account Terms and Conditions", the circumstances and handling of Authentication Factors when using ZA Card through a digital wallet are added and supplemented.</li>
<li>2. To supplement all reasonable precautions and security measures recommended by us for you to secure your Authentication Factors.</li>

Your personal deposit account that you opened at ZA Bank will be classified as inactive, where those account have no financial transactions initiated by the Bank for 18 months(such as interest and charges), will be classified as inactive accounts.

Starting from 30 Jun 2022, we&rsquo;ll adjust the transfer limit for Business Internet Banking. There will be 3 types of transfer limit:

Watch out! We&rsquo;ve noticed a recent attempt by fraudsters, who claimed to be from ZA Bank, to email our users about an inward fund transfer from abroad. The phishing email was sent from &lsquo;contact@zabhk.com&rsquo;, asking the recipients to confirm their ZA Bank account details.
Please note that &lsquo;@zabhk.com&rsquo; isn&rsquo;t our official email domain, and we have no connection with the above phishing email. We&rsquo;d also like to remind you that ZA Bank will never ask for your sensitive personal information by email.
If you&rsquo;ve received such suspicious emails, please alert us immediately through the Online Chat, or call our 24/7 Customer Service hotline on (852) 3665 3665 as soon as possible. In case you&rsquo;ve shared your sensitive personal information with any suspicious person, you should reset your login password and report to the Hong Kong Police immediately.

Starting from 8 Oct 2021, we&rsquo;ll amend the following service of &lsquo;Easy Deposit&rsquo;:

<li>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;The free transaction limit of adding money from&nbsp;Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited&nbsp;will be reduced from HKD 1,000,000 to HKD 2,000. Such change also applies to users who have previously linked their accounts with that bank via &lsquo;Easy Deposit&rsquo;.</li>

Watch out! We recently noticed attempts by fraudsters, who claimed to be staff of ZA Bank, to inform users about third-party inward transfers via SMS sent from a mobile number.
We&rsquo;d like to remind you that ZA Bank won&rsquo;t send you any SMS from a mobile number. We won&rsquo;t ask you to call a mobile number for enquiries about our products and services either. Never share any sensitive personal information with suspicious persons (e.g. HKID number, login password, one-time passwords, etc.)
If you&rsquo;ve received a suspected phishing SMS, please call our Customer Service hotline on (852) 3665 3665 or get in touch with us via the ZA Bank App as soon as possible. In case you&rsquo;ve shared any sensitive personal information with a suspicious person, you should reset your login password and report to the Hong Kong Police immediately.

Please note that ZA Bank did not appoint any intermediaries to help residents apply for products and services. Please do not disclose your sensitive personal information (e.g. ID card number, PIN, one-time password) to anyone. Furthermore, no staff from ZA Bank would ask for any sensitive personal information via calls or emails, or request you to transfer funds to a third-party personal account.
