What is my daily transfer limit?

You can view your Daily Transfer Limit at any time in the ZA Bank App. On the Daily Transfer Limit page, you'll see that your account has four types of transfer limits:

Own-account transfer limit

• This limit applies when you transfer to an account in your own name at another Hong Kong bank/institution. The total sent in a day must not exceed this limit.

 • eDDA (electronic Direct Debit Authorisation) instructions initiated from another bank account in the same name are also counted towards this limit.

Friendly reminder

• For the system to recognize a transfer as an own-account transfer, you must use FPS and transfer via phone number/email address.

• The name and mobile number registered with the other bank must match exactly the details you've registered with ZA Bank.

Registered payee limit

• This limit applies when you transfer to a registered payee (including local or overseas payees). The total sent in a day must not exceed this limit.

• eDDA (electronic Direct Debit Authorisation) instructions initiated by merchants or institutions (e.g. securities firms or utilities) are also counted towards this limit.

Non-registered payee transfer and Global Transfer Limit

• This limit applies when you transfer to an unregistered payee (including an unregistered overseas remittance payee). The total sent in a day must not exceed this limit.

Small-value transfer limit

If the total amount you transfer to Non-registered payees in a day is less than or equal to this limit, no secondary security verification is required.
