Currently, banks are providing autopay services through two different channels:

▸Namely Electronic Clearing (ECG)

▸Faster Payment System (FPS).

FPS has gradually been replacing ECG to carry out autopay services. Meanwhile, companies and institutions are increasing adoption of FPS for autopay.We adopted FPS directly as the channel for autopay. As such, companies and institutions which have yet to adopt FPS for autopay cannot credit directly to ZA Bank accounts (like salary payment, pension payment).

If you want to receive autopay from someone else, please confirm with your payer if the funds are transferred via FPS. Otherwise the payment cannot be processed successfully.
