Notice of Amendment to the “ZA Credit Terms and Conditions”, effective from 1 July 2026

At ZA Bank, we continue to listen to our users’ feedback and improve our banking services. Therefore, we are updating the ZA Credit Terms and Conditions (“Revised Terms”). Understand this may sound boring but to better protect your interests, please bear with us and spare several minutes to read this through carefully.

We have outlined the major changes to the Revised Terms in the table below for your information.

Section  Purpose of the changes and what they mean for you  Clause
5. Availability and credit limit of the ZA Credit

Revised refund arrangements on ZA Credit spending:

In the event of any refunds for transactions made using ZA Credit, and the refund can be linked to the original transaction, the refund amount will first be restored to the credit limit of your ZA Credit. If the refund cannot be linked to the original transaction, or your ZA Credit has been terminated at the time of the refund, or the refund amount exceeds your ZA Credit outstanding amount at that time, the refund amount or the portion exceeding the outstanding amount will be credited to your Designated Account

5.3(b)(iii)
6. Priority Payment

Revised refund arrangements on ZA Credit spending:

When the priority payment method of your ZA Card is switched from ZA Credit to your Designated Account, all ZA Card transactions processed through the VISA network (including any automatic payments and other recurring transactions that you have set up with ZA Card when your ZA Card is linked to ZA Credit) will be debited from your Designated Account.

6.3(b)

You can download a PDF version of the Revised Terms via this link.

You can also find the Revised Terms in the ZA Bank App (tap on your profile picture on homepage, select “About ZA”) or our website under the “Terms and Conditions” section.

Please note that the Revised Terms shall be binding on you if you do not terminate the above mentioned products or services before 1 July 2026. If you decline to accept the Revised Terms, you have the right to terminate the products or services in accordance with the relevant provisions under the existing Terms and Conditions before the above mentioned date.

Please feel free to get in touch with us through the ZA Bank App if you need any assistance.
