If you want to bind another bank/institution to electronic direct debit authorisation (eDDA) for deposit operation, the payment account needs to meet the following conditions:
- The payment account is a local Hong Kong bank's HKD savings account (HKD Saving Account), and it cannot be a wealth management account, cheque account, multi-currency combination account, etc.
- The payment account is your own single-name HKD account, and it cannot be a joint account;
- The ID number, name, and phone number reserved for the payment account must be the same as those registered with ZA Bank.
A gentle reminder:
- ZA Bank does not currently support binding with other accounts and SVF accounts;
- ZA Bank currently only supports binding with HKD accounts;
If another bank/institution want to bind ZA Bank for tranfer operation:
We support eDDA binding initiated from other banks or merchants. Please check with the individual bank or merchant on whether it supports eDDA binding or not.
