eDDA (Electronic Direct Debit Authorisation) is a service that provides direct debit authorisation, allowing a payee to instantly debit funds directly from a payer’s account.
ZA Bank currently supports two types of eDDA: deposit authorisation (Easy Deposit) and transaction authorisation.
- Deposit authorisation allows you to debit funds from your authorised HKD same-name account at another bank via Electronic Direct Debit Authorisation (eDDA) and deposit them directly into your ZA Bank HKD savings account.
- Transaction authorisation allows you to use funds debited from your authorised HKD same-name account at another bank via Electronic Direct Debit Authorisation (eDDA) to directly pay for the required transaction amount in currency exchange involving selling HKD, HKD fund subscriptions and HKD Fund Regular-Invest. Please note that the funds will first be deposited into your ZA Bank HKD savings account and then debited from your account immediately.
